Liebster Award December 2011

I have been trying to keep up with this entire 365 day challenge.  I am behind now but am going to catch up this week as we are almost done the year and I really want to complete it for my own satisfaction.  It has been a really tough year for me.  I have something called Trigeminal Neuralgia which causes me constant pain in the left side of my face.  It is a horrible condition as anyone who has it will tell you.  Some days I just can’t move because of it.  The pain is severe and I take alot of medication to help me just get through a day so some days posting just isn’t possible for me.  Last week we were away seeing my neurologist and she is going to get me in to see a neurosurgeon for a surgery to try to relieve the pain.  A little scarey as it will be a craniotomy.  Anyways, making a long story here, sorry.  When I came home and checked my mail I had a wonderful and uplifting email from  Ashkitty has awarded me the Liebster Award which is an award to draw the attention of followers to bloggers with less than 200 followers.

I am truly honoured to be selected for this.  I cherish every comment or “like” from people who follow or just sparingly read my blog.  It has been a wonderful experience for me in this tough year.  Thank you so much to you all!!

The Rules are:

  1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
  2. Reveal your top 5 picks for the award and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
  3. Post the award on your blog.
  4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogsphere – other bloggers.
  5. And, best of all – have fun and spread the karma!

My picks are:

Thank you all so much for following me and I plan on continuing and learning even more in 2012.  Happy Holidays to you all!!

  1. I really hope that you’ll be a candidate for the surgery and that it will help you. I hate that you’re always in pain. CZ

  2. My heart and Prayers are with you in regard to the Surgery, we all hope you success. Constant pain is so draining that it must be hard to do ANYTHING. Thank you for the Award, I am humbled but alas I cannot reciprocate as I never participate in Chain Letters (No matter how worthy) so if you would like instead, to give the award to someone who can play the game, I will still feel honoured that you thought of me.
