Peace River Flood
Starting last evening, downtown Peace River started flooding from an ice jam in Pat’s Creek culvert which caused it to overflow. I didn’t go into town as I didn’t want to get in the way but I took these from 12 Foot Davis Gravesite today. If you view the photos at full size you can see where the water was. They cut a slice through the berm to let all of the water out into the Peace River. A little bit of excitement around here.

Oh no, the start of the spring floods, let’s hope it is not as bad as last year in Alberta. Our Sheep River is looking rather high too.

A little excitement? I’d say quite a bit…hope the water recedes soon!

You had a good viewpoint though!! I do hope that it has receded and there wasn’t too much damage caused. Interesting photo.

Wow, at full size pictures, it looked terrible. Thanks for sharing with me as I didn’t seen anything like this on TV. Joyce
