Teddy Bear Theme #309

I want to thank all of you who have followed my blog for the past three years.  I have had a wonderful time doing these 365 day challenges.  I have learned a great deal and (I hope) grown as a photographer.  In doing so I have discovered that I truly love doing florals and macro photography.  As I move on into 2014 I am going to concentrate more on this style of photography and will not be doing another 365 challenge.  Although I won’t be posting daily, I plan to post several photos weekly.  I would love for you to stay and follow this new direction with me.  As always your critiques are more than welcome!  So to wrap up 2013 I give you my final theme.  The teddy bear!  This is a little ornament that I have made.  The bear (of my own design) is a fully jointed 2 1/4″ bear with magnets in his paws so he can hang on the ornament.  I have made many of these through the years, all unique.  I hope you enjoy him and again, thank you!

Christmas Tree

Our Christmas tree in the newly painted living room with new trim!  We have been busy for the past few weeks.  :0)

Christmas Concert

Last night was my son’s Christmas concert.  They did a great job fitting 7 grades into 1 hour!  Aidan was enjoying the singing and really singing with feeling this year.  ;0)  In the group photo he is the tall one in the white shirt beside the stable.  The boy standing behind him with just his head showing is his cousin Josh.  Aidan is in grade 3 and Josh is in grade 4.

Snow Plow

We have been getting a lot of snow and Fiona is having a tough time moving through it.  It takes a series of leaps to make it.  She has fun though!

Christmas Kitty

Our pretty Quimby hanging out under the tree.  If his right eye looks a little weird it is because he is blind in that eye after a nasty cat fight this summer.  Sorry about the lack of posts.  I have been so busy here getting ready for Christmas, no time to post.  :0)  I have one more theme to go and then I am done.  Yay!

Winter Glow

We have quite a bit of snow now and it has covered the lit garland on our front deck.  The snow makes it glow so pretty at night.

Lantern

I got an early Christmas gift of Photoshop Creative Cloud from my hubby and was playing today.  Lots to learn, I have been using Photoshop Elements 10 so far.  This solar lantern is hanging off our garage.  I love the rustic look of the lantern and the wood in the snow.

My little Levi was a Valentine’s present from my hubby!  Besides a new camera a horse is the best gift you could get me!

Stormy Theme #296

We have had a snow storm going on for 2 days now.  No sign of letting up yet and I think Barney and Rosie are sick of it.
