Train Tracks Theme #320

Pat’s Creek in Peace River broke through a culvert yesterday and flooded the town.  Lots of excitement for around here.  I took this shot of it flowing under the train tracks, this is where it burst through.  See the pile of wood in the back ground that was blocking it?  Apparently they are concerned with the integrity of the tressle.  I am not sure what the outcome has been.

Velvet Theme #337

A young mule deer buck with his antlers still in velvet came to visit us.  So beautiful.  I also have a bit of sad news.  My mare Peach who I shared a picture of the other day has miscarried her foal so no more foals this year.  Since I have gelded my stallion I will have no more foals ever.  I am pretty sad tonight because I was really looking forward to this foal.  Poor Peach.
