I’m Back With Multiple Themes!

Hi all.  I am finally back.  We had a fantastic holiday in Mexico but then I came back and got the worst flu I have ever had in my life!!  I am finally on my feet again but I have a ton of catching up to do.  I’m going to start out with all of my Mexico pictures.  I am going to try to post 4 themes a day but I will put them in  single post to keep down the emails showing up in your email box.  So here we go!

religion Religion Theme #249

This was inside the chapel at the resort we stayed at.  Beautiful detailing but it was very dark inside so this was the best I could get.

village

Village Theme #334

These are the Mayan ruins at Tulum.  They are so beautiful and it is the only village built on the ocean shoreline.

view

View Theme #333

This beach is at Tulum.  I thought the view was gorgeous.  The beach was closed down because sea turtles have chosen it as a nesting ground.  How cool is that!

cooking

Cooking Theme #78

Every week the resort throws a beach party.  There are dancers, a live band and they cook a HUGE paella.  It was so yummy with lobster, mussels, huge shrimp and scallops.  I felt bad for the poor chefs standing over the hot pan in that heat though.

The cooking photo looks a lot like our summer time fish boils that are so popular in Door County.

  8. Stunning pictures. I love the “village” shot. And you are the second person this week to mention Tulum. Clearly this is some kind of sign for me to plan a vacation…
