Oops, I completely forgot to post yesterday all though I did take some photos.  This is part of the family of deer that live in our yard.  They were heading over to the bales for some supper but discovered that the donkeys were there.  Here the lead doe is deciding what to do.  They are so beautiful!

Now here is Barney on the chase!  I took it through my bedroom window so you can see the reflection of some trees in it.  I like the effect.  I love watching this boy run!!  He about 22oolbs and 17.2 hh at the shoulder which is a little bit shy of 6 feet.  A big boy!

Frantic Theme #137

This doe and her family were eating the hay when Barney my Clydesdale spotted them and chased them off.  She is frantically trying to find a place to jump the fence.  Boy is our snow getting deep!

Bird Seed Theme #29

My little bird seed feeder is starting to get really active!  This group of Redpolls (I’m not sure if they are Hoary or Common) flew in today for a lunch.  There was about 6 of them.  I am pretty excited I caught the one just landing.
