Wildlife Theme #349

Fiona the westie made a new friend today!  This young mule deer doe decided she liked Fiona and was following her around, almost playing with her.  I was standing on the front deck taking photos and she was right close.  She followed Fiona all the way around to the side of the house and was just looking at us.  She seems to have lost her right eye but it looks clean so I think she will be OK.  Such a pretty little thing.  I hope she comes back to visit Fiona again.  They were cute together.  Probably thought Fiona was a noisy rabbit!  lol.

 

By the way, thank you all for your condolences for our llama.  We will be sorely missed. :0(

Wrapped Theme #359

First off, it has been a very sad day here.  We had to put our loveable Kuzco the llama to sleep today.  I am really going to miss his funny face.  Lots of tears here.  So I didn’t take any photos today so this is one I took with my iPhone on sunday.  This chain holds the bale spear onto our tractor bucket so we can move our big round bales.

We had a family birthday for Aidan and his Cousin Hailey tonight.  He was patiently waiting for his piece of ice cream cake.  I love his chocolatey eyes!!

An Edge Theme #5

Busy day with the kids today.  Between games of 31, playing out in the snow, MarioKart on the Wii, making supper and movie night I figured I had better pop in for a quick post!  Poor hubby has a bad migraine so I am trying to entertain the kids to keep them quiet.  So this is the binding of my new leather journal.  I am going to use it to keep track of my photography bucket list and ideas for shoots.  It has beautiful handmade paper inside too.  I love it!!

Aww, does it get any sadder than this?  Poor Squishy and Lily are not happy at all about all of the snow we keep getting.  Poor babies.

Fiona up on a snowbank.  The snow is way over her head now but she is light enough to walk on most of the crust now.  She is tough to see out there sometimes though.
