Barney the clyde/belgian and Rosie the miniature are best friends despite their sizes.  They do everything together.  It’s so cute!!  Catching up here so I will be posting one more photo.

Square Theme #296

I love this flower pot.  I have two of them and leave them out all year long because I like the weathered and worn look they are getting.  It is square on the top.  Don’t razz me Ron!  lol

Critters Theme #61

Fiona the mighty hunter taking care of a mouse.  (Don’t worry, no mice were harmed during this photoshoot)  I used my new Lensbaby Sweet 35 optic and I just love the softness of the whole photo.  By the way, this little mouse got it’s digs in.  It climbed Fiona, bit at her, jumped at her and tried to climb my leg!  Feisty!

 

 

Building Theme #33

One of the little birdhouses that my kids made.  I can’t remember which one made it (I’d have to go look at the back of it) but it is a favourite of the birds.  There are 4 of them that line the pasture with 2 more to hang.  Certainly a bright spot in the winter.

Awful! Theme #19

It is REALLY windy here today.  Not good for my nerve condition but I really needed to see my Dr. so I took my camera along.  This was taken in our yard from my truck showing the wind whipping the snow off our roof and across our driveway.  No fun out there.

Best Friend Theme #22

My little Best Friend, Fiona.  She is almost 9 months old now and full of herself.  I took this picture with my new iPhone 4s and played with it in the Snapseed App.  I think I should have shut the flash off as it really washed her out.  Still experimenting with it.  Having fun though!

The sunrise taken out my back door this morning.  All I did to it was crop it to take out the power lines.

Blur Theme #26

I was getting my photo together to post for today and realised that I forgot to post yesterday!  Oops.  So here you go.  I took this photo on saturday of one of my mares (June Bug) and her filly (Peppermint) from last may.  It was snowing a fairly heavy snow but very fine flakes so my photo didn’t come out very clear so I blurred it a bit more to make it look more artistic.  Both mare and filly are black so I had a boring monotone picture so I changed it to B&W.  I am happy with the results.
