We had this dragonfruit for dessert last night. Sadly it wasn’t as tasty as it looked. Isn’t it pretty though? lol

I posted one of those in the early days of my blog, but i had never eaten one. What do they taste like? Do you eat everything inside? How do you eat it? Do you scoop it out? I’m confused by this fruit 🙂

My husband ate alot of them when he was in China this spring so I let him handle it. He cut all of the pink peel off and then cubed it. It is similar in texture and taste to a kiwi but this one wasn’t very sweet. He said the ones in China were much better so I don’t know if it was over-ripe or picked too green but with a bit of sugar on it our daughter loved it and took the rest for lunch today. :0)

I thought it looked like a pink granadilla!!! Most attractive. I’ve never seen one before, this is a first for me.

What a great photo and very interesting edible fruit. I will have to look for this at the market.
