Back to School Free Theme #3
Today was the first day of school here in Alberta. This is my little guy, Aidan starting his first day of grade 1!! I can’t believe he is old enough. He was so excited and was already talking french to his new teacher when I left. (Both kids are in french immersion) I was so proud!!! His sister, Téa started grade 6 but was too cool for the camera! lol.

It’s great that they are in language immersion classes – I wish those were available when I was in school.

Merci! I am really good at faking it. My fil speaks fluent french and grew up speaking it in his home so he is enjoying his grandkids in french. The rest of us can sort of fake it. lol. Poor Aidan was getting sick of me taking pictures of him. This is the only one where he actually looked at the camera, all of the rest he was facing me but his eyes were looking elsewhere. He loved his first day as did our daughter so what more can a parent ask for. It sure is quiet around here though.

How bittersweet for you and how fine that both kids are liking school.
