Faces Theme #94

These faces are two of my three most favourite faces!!  My husband, Rob and my son, Aidan.  They were having a great time playing in the snow.  My daughter wasn’t feeling very well so she was resting in the house.  You will meet her soon though.

In The Distance Theme #155

This picture was taken yesterday of the Dunvegan Bridge in Alberta.  We were on our way to Grande Prairie to do some shopping.  I have always loved this bridge and valley.  The bridge goes across the beautiful Peace River.  I missed posting a picture yesterday because we were away so this is for yesterday.  ;0)

Large Theme #165

Barney is my Clydesdale/Belgian draft horse.  He is 17.2 h or 5″7″ tall at the shoulder and about 2200lbs.  I guess you know now why I picked him for the “large” theme.  He is a big love bug.  He is broke for riding and driving but mostly he is my pretty pony!!

The Letter C Theme #304

This is another picture of our friendly little Chickadee.  I played around with it, did and airbrush on it and then added some crosshatch texture in Elements.  I like the way it turned out.  So C is for chickadee!

Three Theme #330

These 3 trees are up at the front of our property where we can see them from the house.  We have buried our beloved first Great dane here, a wonderful SPCA pooch, my special kitty, Mouse and 2 of our pet chickens so it has a lot of specialness associated with it.  To Thunder, Greta, Mouse, Hermione and Buffy, we will always remember you all!!

Fuzzy Theme #123

This is my handsome stallion, Levi aka Fabio, in his winter fuzzies.  He is a miniature horse and stands about 30″ tall at his shoulders.  He is a wonderful little horse and will be here for ever.

Airborne Theme #3

My 6 year old son jumping off the deck into the big pile of snow.  He was having a great time.  Dad and I aren’t so impressed with all of the snow though!  ;o)

Abstract Theme #1

This is a chunk of ice that I found outside.  It had dripped off of our house and I thought it looked really neat.  So here is my abstract shot!

I found this barbed wire coiled on the side of the road.  We live in the middle of farm country and it just struck me.
